Hi again, Heather, I'm not sure that I will have the time to answer all of these, but I will try..... Under "My Questions" A. Male B. Adult C. adolescent and pubescent boys (I have a wide range...ha ha ha) D. I belong to the Boylove Community...Christian Boylove Community, actually. E. Christian Under "Holben's Questions" 1. I believe that ultimate authority to be God. The Holy Spirit within us confirms and convicts us and our acts or actions. 2. My belief (so far) on this is that, human sexuality has the purpose of being part of the creation of human life. However, it does have another purpose...that of enjoyment and it plays a part in the developement of two people closely bonding with one another. Which is it's most important role? I would say, the creation of life! 3. Good question! I would say that the HIGHEST criteria for this would be the informed, mutual consent of both parties involved. However, one CANNOT ignore the existing social standards of the time! I do not believe that either of these criteria can over-rule the other, but must both be met. 4. Yes indeed there is a "pedophile condition or orientation" (I personally prefer the word orientation.). And I beleve, as an orientation, it is just as valid as any other. What is it's cause? We can still only speculate, but we MUST understand this very important fact... "Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made." John 1:3 I see it like this...whether the minor attracted adult is actually created or made that way by God, or some event in his or her life, it would NOT have happened at all unless God LET it happen. This I very strongly believe! 5. Oh yes, most definately! To just "be" something is actually nothing at all, except to ones self. In a Christian sense, "faith without works is dead". If I were a carpenter, say, having all the knowledge and skill of a carpenter, but never once built anything, would I be anything at all (to anyone else but myself?). No, of course not! And so, I believe, it is the same with anything in life. Until an action is involved, the "thing", whether it be pedophilia or carpentry, is as nothing at all. 6. I'm not sure I totally understand the scope of this question, however.... I can say this much... In todays society, the psycological significance of pedophilia is devistating upon the pedophile. And, if that person is involved with a boy, it CAN be devistating upon him also, for the very same reasons. 7. The spiritual significance, I believe, is being revieled right now! So far, I think, it has revieled itself as being a VERY nesisary part of God's Family. There are so many hurting children in our world...children of broken, desperate homes, or with no homes at all. Children who are hurting physically, psycologicaly, or spiritually (!). It is my growing belief that God does indeed have a purpose for us here on this Earth! 8. Only by a miracle of God. As I believe that Pedophilia is a sexual orientation...not an addiction, nor mental illness, nor even a choice (i.e....we cannot "choose" our orientation), the ONLY way a change can be made, is by God alone! Now, I am not saying here, that this has never happened, I am sure it has, hovever, ONLY as God Himself wills it. 9. I believe I can arrive at this moral oppinion: Pedophilia is a "normal" sexual orientation, which can be as good or as harmfull as ANY sexual orientation. It must be, thus, "governed" under the social criteria of the times, but the ultimate governing moral agent is God, and the Holy Spirit at work in the pedophile's life. 10. I believe that the personal call for a pedophile is the same as it would be for any other person. If that pedophile is a Christian, it would be to serve God according to His will in thier life. 11. Something that the Christian Church is still not doing... To welcome us all as equal and important parts of the Body of Christ. 12. First, and foremost, in a word: understanding! For us, as Christian Boylovers, to understand societies views, and to comply with them...to the extent that we are not breaking thier laws (i.e. I believe in a boylover having a relationship with a boy, but NOT engaging in sexual acts with him.) Also, it is important that society understand US! Understanding is the key, I think! WHEW!!!!! I did it! I can't believe I did the whole thing. I hope this is helpful to you, Heather.
