Rex, you don't understand the difference between "assume" and "report." If Holben assumed that the Bible was the Word of God – or, to make your accusation more plausible, assumed that his representative viewpoints held this view – then he would be biased. If he examines what Christians have said on this topic and reports with accuracy that Christians of all viewpoints believe that the Bible in some way tells us about God (though not all Christians would say that the Bible is the Word of God; my denomination doesn't, for example), then he is simply being a good reporter.
