Reoffending rates among convicted child abusers

One of the myths of the debate over the treatment of offenders is that there is a high rate of reoffending. The attached link points to an article from a main stream British Newspaper that suggests that the rate is about 2% who go on to reoffend - and that therefore the hysteria on the issue is strongly over done.
