Hi David --

Am I one of the few people that theorize that Jesus was a boylover?

No, you're one of many who do. Very many. Including me. :)

My main question is "Do you think Jesus was a boylover?"

It seems likely. Jesus apparently had a special YF. The testimony and writings of this youth are explicitly cited as the source behind the literary composition which we know as John's gospel (John 21:24). His special intimacy with Jesus is clearly spelled out (John 13:23).

Many scholars identify this youth with the one mentioned in Mark 14:51-52. And, of course, also with the youth mentioned in Clement of Alexandria's quotation of "longer Mark". (Like most scholars, I accept Morton Smith's discovery as a genuine Clementine fragment.)

When no one else would follow Jesus, his loved boy would not lose faith in the man he loved, no matter what the consequences were.

Indeed. This youth was the only one of Jesus's followers to witness his death on the cross (John 19:26); the others were in hiding.

You are close to the truth, my friend.
