Ken: God saves through boylove. That is how I was first touched by God, through the movie "The Boys of St. Vincent." I don't know if you have seen it but it is a movie about Roman Catholic Brothers in charge of an orphanage in which a number of the brothers are sexually abusing the boys. When I saw that movie I said "My God those poor beautiful boys, and Catholcism looks very intersting," granted I was 14 at the time. Now 6 years later I can say that God touched me, for the first time consciously, in that expeiernence. I wonder about your question of "if God wants me to die for boylove than I shall," this brings an interesting question to mind. That there are radical right-wing Christians who say "we must destroy every gay and every pedophile on earth for it is the will of God," and here we say "we must gain acceptance to express the love God gave each of us," and so both of us believe we are doing the will of God, but yet are we? Can we both be right? This brings up Martin Buber, the Jewish Existentialist, who asked "Does God exist outside of the human consciousness as an objective other?" In this case we can clearly see the God of the conscious life, but if there really exists an objective other we call God than one of us is right and one is wrong. In my heart of hearts I know God has inspired my attraction, and in the radicals heart of hearts they believe that they were sent by God to restore order to earth by removing gays and pedophiles. Who is right? God? If God is simply a human mind construction of consciousness and paranormalic unconsciousness then there are no absloutes and Sartre would be right in saying "there are no virtues," but we have believed that there exists a God within, and a God without, and so how do we reconcile this with our brothers and sisters who belieev we are products of demons, and they are saints? And we feel the other way? Can we always claim "I'm right cause I feel......?" All I can say is that this is who I am, David the boylover. If there are no absoultes then we live in a world that should be a nihlistic anarchalial structure. For now we hold onto the remaning remanence of a post-religion era, and how is this hung onto? By hating pedophiles. We cannot begin to imagine how important we are to society, because society knows that when they let us go and legalize Love then they must admit "yes anything goes." I guess we wage this war through prayer, the fundamentalists spend their day praying saying "God save us from the gays and pedophiles," and we boylovers pray "God please liberate the love I believe you gave me."
