Chris, Thank you for your kind and understanding words. It feels good to finally be able to talk to people about these things and have them relate to what I'm going through. Society makes it tough when they show total despise for a person because of a way he feels -- it makes it almost impossible for that person to seek comfort, encouragement, understanding, and *help* from another person. As Christians we need to keep ourselves open to all people. I know that many people don't understand me because they haven't been in my shoes, and I know that I don't understand other people because I don't know what it's like to be living in their shoes. We need to be understanding for we really don't know a person's heart. I saw one post on here that mentioned a kid that acted out in anger when all he really wanted was to love and be loved. A person's actions do not necessarily define a person's heart. And if we're going to be any kind of help to anyone, we have to remain open and love them. Fundido |
