Dannyboy, This may be a divine appointment. It may be that God wants you to interact with the boy and have a positive influence on him. I often get these "divine appointments" at work. Some boys trigger something within me when I first see them, and the next thing I know, they're walking up to me and asking me questions. They like the way I relate to them, and the next time they see me, they come to talk to me some more. This happens again and again. I've made friends with a few different boys like this, and am still their friend years later. Also, you ever notice how often a boy will smile back? I think it's because most adults ignore them, but when one finally notices them, they appreciate it. ~Splash* |
