We are no longer reliant on older people -- we can take care of ourselves, think our own thoughts, do things our own way, act independently of anyone else, keep secrets, hide feelings, have sex, physically hurt others, think bad thoughts, choose bad over good, etc. It's the innocence that attracts me to boys under 14 -- and maybe part of that has to do with me wanting to go back to the innocence ("projection"). ~Splash* |
