Wow. Thank you for the compliments. It encourages me to hear these things and know that I may be able to help others through the things I say and how I say them. I've often dreamed of becoming a writer, and I've often felt that I could help others who are in the same position as me regarding their feelings and struggles with being a boylover (aka pedophile). I have yet to look, but I doubt I will find any Christian books on this subject. I know there are many Christian books regarding homosexuality, but how many of them deal with the issue of men being attracted to boys? I've learned a lot by reading these books on homosexuality, since they often discuss the root causes; however, I'm not like the normal homosexual -- my feelings are for boys, not men, with an interest in women, not girls. I'd like to see a book that covers the many aspects of being a pedophile (lover of boys and girls). This forum is one way of learning. I'd like to do more research on this topic and compare it to my own experiences and the experiences of others. I'd like to share my findings with others. Thanks again for your kind words. I never really thought that I did much good for this boy until I came here. I always felt guilty. But now, because of the feedback from my posting here, I am able to see the positive side of being a boylover and the goodness that CAN come out of it. And even though it's been almost two years since I've seen him, I feel okay with saying, "Memories may fade, but the effect will last forever!" This saying can be said by both the overcoming boylover and the fallen boylover. I'm happy that I can say it as an overcomer and positive Christian influence in a young boy's life. ~Splash* |
