Didn't mean to argue

Splash, Sorry if my last post was too much of an argument, especially since your message was not meant to prove a point but merely state your beliefs. I read my post again and realized that it does kind of sound like I am trying to prove you wrong. I, too, do not know the answer, and my last post provided a sounding board for my own still-forming ideas. The main reason I responded is that I saw a danger in some of your statements if other people took them to be arguments against homosexuality. They made me re-formulate many of my own ideas, and so I wrote them down. As I said at the beginning, this post was not only meant for you. Perhaps it should have been a separate thread, but I was replying to your message and didn't make it one. In any case, I certainly respect your opinions and am not offended at all if you don't have anything else to say on the matter.
