We've talked about that before. I think the biggest problem is just finding a time when everyone can get together. The security questions are also a concern, of course. When you use IRC, your computer IP address is displayed for all to see. This can often be used with varying precision to determine where you are located, the precision varying from what town you're in, to what desk you're sitting behind, depending on how your internet access is supplied. On most dial-up modem connections, it won't get more precise than your town or general region, so you have to judge for yourself how sensitive that information is. Fod |
