I think that we must see the RC Church as in a state of change, being driven by the Holy Spirit towards a true understanding of God and human nature. There is nothing more protestant than forming a new "sect", because you belive something slightly different than the rest. Look how at one time the Church held that one must belive in a flat Earth.
