| Where large parts of Jerusalem especially shut down Friday night. I've never quite sussed how such people cope with the Artic where there is no sunset - though I suppose they can argue for the sun's lowest point in the sky. I remember giving a Muslim a hard time on this one - Ramadan = no food or drink during the hours of sunlight; there is no darkness.... He claimed there was some special rule about it - though whether it is in the Koran or a modern convenience, I don't know (anyone?). |
