Okay, I see your point now. Of course, the other people interviewed assumed that I want to have sex with children, so I don't think that was important *new* information. What was surprising and doesn't get reported very often is that there are celibate pedophiles. And that is why it was framed the way it was. The interview may well have been anonymous in the sense that they don't have my name and phone number, but my nick is *very* well known across the online BL world and in that sense, it is quite obvious who I am. The statement quoted is general on purpose. It has several meanings: 1. Sexual contact with children can be very harmful. 2. Pedophiles can work with children and not necessarily develop sexual relationships with them. 3. "Boylovers" as a group includes those who act on their attraction, and those who do not. The definition of "boylover" should not be dependent on whether the person acts on his attraction. Peace, Bach |
