Reading older posts with my nick

A friend sent me the following message concerning my older posts on this page: "I get a dialog box asking me to type in my user name and password. Of course, I don't have one, so I push the cancel button. Then your post loads, except for your sigpic, which is replaced by the broken-graphic icon." Bach has fixed the problem for all future posts (my sig-pic used to be linked to a site that is presently down), but I thought I'd pass on my friend's advice in case anyone tries to read my older posts at this site.
