This is not easy! Humanity takes it to extremes... as in the puritan era when all was covered [ankles to neck], or the Roman period when nudity and orgies was the norm. It comes to the condition of the heart!
In the puritan era, I suppose lust was still a problem, as one would undress a desired person with their mind and heart, and in the Roman era I am sure that if a BL saw a naked woman, he wouldn't even flinch.
In the garden of Eden, Adam & Eve were nude and lust was not a problem, until they heeded to the slippery serpent. Ever since then the necessity of coverings was needed.

Now I believe the world is overreacting to BL's and the fear put on them by the media. I think overall man are more sexual aroused than woman, and because we are in a female run era, they don't understand the male side of things. I believe boys need to be touched [not in sexual manner], hugged, and roughhoused by other boys and men. Its part of growing up. Children in general want adult interaction in their lives. This whole myth of children are to be seen and not heard is nonsense. They need to know they are wanted and cared for by others.

Because of this there is a great vacuum being created by the stereo type I see happening in society. As a result, children are at more risk, not less when they are told not to talk to strangers, or not to be touched by others. For the most part I see BL's in general. Now there are sexual perverts, who all they want is sex. But generally speaking, BL are given a special gift of meeting the needs of children. Prior to BL being found out, are in general the best Sunday School teachers, Scout leaders, motivators, etc. to boys.

I know in my days of great zeal for boys, in seeing them be all they can be, and for us Christians, seeing them be all they can be for Jesus. I know the compliments I continually got from parents, leaders, and other adults on my ability to reach boys [and girls] for Christ.

Now to your question, 'when do we cross the line?'. That is something between you and the Lord, it’s the condition of the heart. We need to continually to suppress those lustful thoughts and feelings, to meet the needs of the boys we minister to. I think it is absolutely crazy to think we should have no contact with them at all anymore, once we have crossed the line.

Yes, a boys beauty is something to behold, but a greater beauty is the boys soul. May we aspire to see that beauty through his eyes. God help us to work towards that goal, and win the hearts of those who condemn us.

With much love,
Compassion...;+)
