I am not perfect. No one on this planet is. The truth is: There are orphan boys in Romania dieing by sniffing glue. There are boys in Brazil selling their bodies on the city streets. There are children whose fathers beat them after their drinkning binges. There are children losing their parents in America every night due to a house fire, a car accident, or some other tragic incident. And on and on!!!!! Who can reach these children? Whose love can break the walls down by getting involved? If you fall (as everyone does from time to time), do we run or do we stay the course with a child who means so much to us and to whom we have come to mean a great deal? Can a child forgive us for our sinful nature? If not, God can! Can a child love us even though we are not perfect? If not, God can! Can God help us to be the men we can be? Can God's love transform us into helping the thousands of boys whose souls are dying each and every night. When you think about the darkness that some of the children our experiencing right now, do you think our failings are that important to them? Go for love! Get involved! Pray for God to help us be the men we can be!!!! Once a boy |
