| OK, that last post of mine was too harsh. I still agree with the issues it raises, but I ignored the very real struggle that Once A Boy was talking about in his prayer. It is not an easy road, I know - I've been there. But my desire is to open up eyes to the fact that that struggle CAN be left behind! You can win the struggle with guilt and shame - not by getting used to it and quashing those shame and guilt feelings, but by being healed from the behaviors and thoughts that cause them in the first place. We CAN come to a place of victory so that true desires to lift up PEOPLE (not just excusively boys because we are attracted to them) will not be tained by sinful desires. Once a Boy - may you find God's victory and peace. |
