I don't believe I HAVE made such an argument. Could you indicate where I've said such a thing? "Whenever the issue of what do to about sinful thoughts and/or actions comes up, it is continously parried by comments al 'Gee, all the goood we can do for some pooooor boy who neeeeds us so bad' - as if God is not powerful enough to help these boys in any way other than depending on some lustful guys to show them the care and concern God can't manage any other way to show them. It is absolutely rediculous." While God certainly IS powerful enough to help boys, girls, men, and women all by Himself, current evidence shows that he does not avail Himself of that power. For reasons known only to Him, he prefers to let most of us go our own sweet way. It is usually only when another Human Being offers a shoulder to cry on that those who are hurt start to heal. I would argue that there are a lot of people out there - some of them boys - who are better off with someone's shoulder to cry on, even if that someone just happens to be me or you. And now a little humour: this priest decided to look in on one of his parishoners who was tending his garden, the most beutifully kept garden in the village. Admiring the garden, the priest said: "Isn't it amazing what God and man can achieve together?" "Oh I don't know," said the parishoner. "You should have seen it when God had it all to himself."
