A Distant Star, A Distant Land I heard your voice call down to me, "I am with you Take my hand Come with me to a distant star, A distant land." Spirit rising despite years of darkness. Everything taken except for one thing, The only thing that truly matters. This child was lost. But now is found! Past the joyful sparkles in the children's eyes, I see the light! Home is the never ending love that exists between our bonded souls. The heart pumps freely now. Building up; not tearing down. Laughing, playing, caring, praying Showing the world - To live. To love. To shine on! For there is a shining star just above the horizon. Today, there's a boy crying. Lost. Confused. Hurting. Death is his desire. Only one thing to do. As the voice said to me, I say to him, "Come with me to a distant star, A distant land." See the light way up there. Close your eyes. Reach up. Touch a star. In your mind, it's really not that far. Life is good. Life is sweet. Look up! There is a guiding light, Shining bright, Bringing comfort to your soul. Hear and see all this and more. Come on in and open the door.
