God gives and God takes...God will humle us when we need to be humbled. As it is it is written in Ecclesiasstes, "There's a time for everything." We all will have magnificiant moments when we know God is working in our lives. There will be many times He blesses our days. He streghtens us and encourages us. Then, there are times, we "lose." Do we roll over and die, or do we keep the faith, think about why we are in the valley and have hope that a brighter day is ahead? You wrote, God had to give up His boy. We, too, may have to sometimes "give up" our boy, but God will sustain us. And then you wrote, "God got Him back." We, too, will one day reconnect with a boy we have "lost," if there was love between us and the boy. Really, we have nothing to sacrafice, nothing to give up. There's a time for us to be with a boy, and God will make it clear: who, when, and to what degree the relationship will develop. Our relatioships may not last forever here on earth, so always treasure the times you have together. Finally, realize there is a day we, like God, will be reuinted with a boy who meant so much to us, who we came to love. ~Once a Boy |
