I enjoyed the following lines from your poem. They made me think.

You wrote: "Unable to not notice each boy I pass."
I thought: Yes, God sure makes us have empathy and a deep care for a boy. We can look deeep into their eyes and see. We can make them smile, and the smile shines within us. Thank God for this.

You wrote: "Why oh why must i live with this curse?"
I thought: Is this a curse? To be able to notice each boy we pass... Doesn't everyone want to be noticed? What is wrong with noticing a boy?

You wrote:
"Loving boys on a higher plane
Not so easy to do
As I'm dragged back down
To the pit of desire"
I thought: Perhaps you are right. It is not easy to love a boy, really love a boy. Thus, we must draw closer to God in order to remain in clearity as to the spiritual gift implanted within us. You were correct earlier. We notice boys as others walk on.

You wrote:
"So that I pray that I may
Someday be cured afterall."
I thought: When we die, God will make us righteous in all the ways in which we fall short in the eyes of God. We fall short in thousands (perhaps millions) of ways. We may, at times, fall short in regards to this one issue. Why do we over emphasis this? It keeps us from seeing all of the other ways we fail God, and it prevents us from learning to love a boy, really love a boy. God does forgive us and love us, so I don't think I should slop in guilt. We are free to rise up despite our falls. We can build up despite part of us trying to tear us down. We can love despite evil trying to say we can't....hmm, thanks for the poem..
