Funny, I was pretty sure that Huck's message talked about his accepting the so called 'truth' that the "homosexual lifestyle" is sinful... To deny one's feelings is to deny who and what you are. The Bible is, as always, subject to interpretation. I don't believe that it is wrong to act upon one's attractions to boys, or anyone else. It is, unfortunately, illegal to do so in many areas. But, such laws are meant to protect the children from harm. They also 'protect' the children from love. If, like some peoples' posts here seem to indicate, you some times look at boys, and only see them as meat, then it probably is a good idea to not act on your feelings. I have never looked at a boy and merely seen a piece of meat. I know that I would never rape, or otherwise hurt anyone on purpose. (you can't rape somebody by accident) I'm afraid it does sound like Huck here has been brain washed... Not just because of his views, but by the 'tone' of the message... Sprite. |
