It has been one of the features of this board that we had, until the last few days, been able to argue passionately without it collapsing into flame wars that are painful to behold, and which have needed the Webmaster to intervene to stop. It is one of the virtues of discussion boards that it allows a clear statement of opinion with the opportunity to think issues through properly without the time constraint of a conversation, or even an ICQ session. we've done it in the past - let's try and return to this paradigm?! |
