We all go to hell or we all go to heaven?

I would not suggest killing 30 people, yet even for a serial killer, there can be forgiveness. There is hope. In a sense, we are all serial killers. During our lifetime, I am sure we have thought of killing many people. Our thought is just as bad as the act in the eyes of God.

Thankfully, a relatioship with God reminds us of the sins we commit. We are highly aware of when we fail Him. I think life is a process not a destination to be perfect. Each day we hope to take more steps forwards than backwards. Our growth is what matters!

Ideally, we all should proclaim, "We should not do things we ought not;" however, I think each day (throwing BL aside), there are hundreds (perhaps thousands) of things we ought not to do. God knows our thoughts of hate, envy, judging others, ect....perhaps, in a subconsious way, these "evil" thoughts occur millions of times a day. We do, in thought, many things we ought not.

There are two choices:

1) Accept the judgement of our sin and be thrown in hell. No one will get into heaven, for we all do things we ought not.

or

2) Accept that God is a loving and forgiving God. Everyone who asks His forgiveness and believes goes to heaven (no matter what). Just because one is an actual serial killer is no different than my failure in thought, in my heart. We all fail Him, yet He loves us!

I do not know the will of God, but I see no other possibilities. We all either go to hell, or we all go to heaven (provided we ask for forgiveness, and to be honest, I'm not sure why we can't ask for forgiveness after the moment we die and stand before God). That would be cool, for all those loved ones we don't think believed.

Anyway, we cannot be perfect! If we were perfect, why would we need God? Why would we need to lean on Him? Why would we pray? We would know it all.

Well, I hold out on the latter situation in which God's grace brings us to Him despite our failings. In looking over my life, I see improvements, but there is no possible way to be perfect here on earth. We must lean on the one who loves us more than anyone here on earth. What "sins" sicken us make us change, but there are too many "sins" we have that need correction. The ones that don't sicken us (by God telling us "change!")are the ones we don't change. Is one sin greater than another? Perhaps loving a boy is a "sin;" however, there are many others we have. If it is not sickening to one's stomach, then God has not placed it on our hearts to change at this time in life. For me, He has made imporvements in many areas of my life, but this boy loving issue is still a gift for me...a gift to draw closer to God (to determine what is ok and not ok)...and a gift to realte to boys in ways that are pleasing to God....a gift to love boys.
