I understand that in the Bible there is no reference to sex between kids, but it does happen. Why does it disturb you so that there are thousands (perhaps millions) of kids having sex on this very day? Do children have a better sense of dealing with sexual desires than adults? God will forgive them for their explorations. If they do not realize they are forgiven, they can go through life feeling guilty and place a bullet in their heads when they reach adulthood. We must forgive ourselves for things we have done. I am not ashamed for my sexual escapades of my youth. God has forgiven me for that. With God's help, I continue to work in life at taking more steps forwards than backwards. I think one can build a child up despite the imperfections that exist within them. If a child does wrong and we constantly say, "You're bad." The child is crushed, demoralized, and reamins in darkness. It is far better to be encouraging (with adults also) than to "be God" and tell people they are bad. We all are bad. Yet God builds us up despite our "badness." God shines on us despite our shamefulness. God makes us be free of the chains of past failings and our past hurts. God stregnthens us when we are weak. The world may judge and codem us, but God is the light in the darkness. Hope this inspires a little.... Something to think aboout, ~Once a Boy |
