Not everybody is all that bad, ya know. I live in a pseudo redneck community, but I doubt that very many members of the local Methodist church would be anti-gay... Many might find it distasteful, and choose to ignore it, but as far as I know they don't do anti-gay sermons & shit... Also the Methodist church that my aunt goes to is rather neutral/pro-gay.
