is that most people who come in here cursing the participants are Christian homophobes. Jim is different from them in only two respects: he is an atheist fideiophobe, and he eventually always comes back to dish out more. I'm generally not enamoured of pop psycho-babble, but when he rails against Christians for spreading hatred and destruction, I can only assume that he himself has been very badly hurt by a Christian (or Christians) in the past. Nothing we say or do can convince him that it's possible for someone to disagree about an idea without hating the person with whom the disagreement exists. For Jim, it's all very simple: you either agree with him or you're obviously narrow, intolerant, hate-filled, and homophobic. The irony of his position seems to escape him.
