There are no easy answers - but I hope that your finding this site will be an encouragement to you that you are not alone in your struggle. Although there is usually a sexual element in my attraction to boys, my strongest relationship with a boy at the moment has no sexual component whatsoever. At its best we seem to find that we are able to relate better to boys than most other men, and many of us can speak of positive relationships where we have been able to bless them positively (and non sexually). But it is a painful hole in your life. You are also not alone in being married and having kids and still struggling in this area as well; some of our other visitors have described themselves similarly. I hope you continue to visit and contribute to the board; I can honestly say that at the moment contacts through this board are the best thing in my life (thanks Dirk, Huck and Zip especially) |
