We have often heard the expression, "Today is the first day of the rest of your life." Much time and effort has been expended in calculating, guessing, and contemplating when the world will end. Scholars have devoted their entire lives to it, yet it has eluded them all. Jesus, himself, didn't know, and the Saints under the Golden Altar don't know… The Bible, and recorded history give us accounts of the ends of many different worlds. The best way to utilize our efforts and engergies is to make ourselves ready when the end *does* come… If we are ready for it, it really doesn't make any difference at all… does it? If you're not ready, your world will end when you die! We should live each day as though it were the *last* day of the rest of our life! Just my 2¢ worth… ~Andy |
