Hi GraceComesFirst, Boy did I connect with your message, brother. Yes indeed, God's grace IS sufficient for us all! That has always been the very purpose and design of grace. And how much grace does God give us? As much as we need! His love is endless and without measure. We are imperfect for now, but God is not finnished with us yet. We are all a work...no, rather, a masterpiece in the works, under construction, if you will. It is God's Holy Spirit who is at work in our lives daily, to bring us closer to His image. Praise God! It's not up to us to try to change ourselves, God Himself is faithful to do this. Besides, whenever WE try to do it ourselves, we always seem to mess up somehow. Our Father has the power to "grow us up"...and I am certain this is His plan! I believe we only need to trust Him, have faith in His wisdom and power in our lives, and always, always place His Kingdom first in our hearts and lives. I am convinced also, that all true love comes from God. Read 1 Cor. 13:4-13 for a perfect description of love (perfect description of God?!}. Sex is such a small (but strong) part of love. I think mankind is way too focussed on sex. We do live in a fallen world, but we who are God's children are not a part of it. And the world does hate us, but then, it also hated Christ. But, praise God, Christ has overcome the world! Anyway, like I said, you really inspired me, brother. I would like to welcome you to CBLF, also. I really dig your style! Love in Christ Jesus, Chris |
