Hi Heather, You know, I have seporated myself (or perhaps God has seporated me) from the Christian Church some time ago. I just couldn't sit and listen to any more anti-gay retoric any more. I completely understand where you are comming from, Heather, and I must tell you that I am sure that God understands as well. You know, churches are man-made things. Yes they are inspired by God, but man has (in his typical fashion) taken the church in way the wrong direction. I say this about the church in general, because I am sure there are probably some very Holy Spirit filled churches around, but for the most part, all I see when I visit one is...well...not good. Anyway, I left the "church-world" (not Christianity, however...I am still in, and always will be in, a very strong personal relationship with God) quietly. I didn't say too much to anyone as to why I wasn't attending services anymore. If you feel the need to leave with a farewell, then I say, "by all means, go ahead sister!". God will lead you in the right path, He will take care of you, Heather. And please don't believe that the church is totally hopeless or forever lost...God will bring it back to Him in time. I think right now, however, God is "calling out" a people who will grow in Him, in His image, and become the greatest revelation of Christ ever seen.
