""I am a Christian and I TRY to live up to my beliefs"" - I live up to virtually all of my of my beliefs... My religion is my own, as is everyone else's, call it/them what you will.

DO NOT try to argue this point, NO two people believe EXACTLY the same thing, that is the nature of individuality.

The problem here, or at least one of them, is that you are making wild assumptions about what I believe in. I have, in the past, sinned... I have lied & stolen on purpose. But I can not, off-hand, think of any other sins... I'm sure that there are, but do not assume that you know what they are, by assuming you know my religious beliefs...

"...supposedly "God's Word"." - That is exactly right. Supposedly... Should we accept every word in the Bible as fact? Should we disregard the Bible entirely? Or, should we us our own judgment, and decide for ourselves what should and should not be believed? Or should we let some one else decide what we should believe?
