Wish I could give your post the lengthy response it deserves, but I'm in a rush this evening to get offline, so I'll only say that I really don't know what C. S. Lewis would have thought of celibate pederasty – I don't recall him ever addressing this in his writings. His focus in that passage, I think, was on acting on the feelings, and of course he was approaching the matter from the traditional Christian position. It would be interesting to see what his comments would be on the matter today, in light of the much wider discussion of the topic. Regardless as to whether one agrees with him or not on the sinfulness of pederasty, I think he has a good point in seeing hypocricy in people's approach to this subject.
