The boy you speak of may or may not be in your life for a long time. I think the key is to surround yourself with many boys. That is, not to limit yourself to just one. I have had many intimate relationships with boys, but the boy cannot become an obsession. I teach, so I find it easy to enjoy my time with the kids at school. Then, my more intimate relationships (usually the one's outside of school) are not so consuming. Nick, the kid I have mentioned has been on my mind, yet by now tutoring a kid twice a week and spending time with my friend's kids and the kids at school, I am not overly obsessed with Nick. Also, a recent call from Joe (now 22), a former boy, who changed my life, made me realize not to be overly concerned. God will make the relationship work.

With boys, I may want a relationship that is not realistic. I may crave something so deep. I have been satisfied with Joe, because although the relationship can never achieve the bond I so desire here on earth, I realize our souls are bonded in such a way that in heaven we will have an "orgasm" that supercedes anything I could ever dream of here on earth.

You definitely have made an impact on the boy, yet you are correct that the relationship can never fufil you to the degree you desire. All relationships change, and I may have had reached the peak with my Nick. However, I still think God has some great things ahead for us, but in a sense it may not matter. Already, I have made an impact on Nick's life and so have you with "your" boy. Your name is written on the boy's heart. I know my name is special to many people; I thank God for the people He has brought into my life. Time and distance change relationships, but indeed, the love I have shared with them last forever. Free your mind by thinking of others, and always be thankful for the time you do have with "your" boy. I think we appreciate the moments more because we know "it" will not last forever. Everything changes in time, but one thing....the love that is forever implanted in another...sounds like your love is in him and his love is in you. You have been blessed! Best to you...there will be others after this relationship changes. In the meantime, ENJOY and be thankful!!!!!
