Thanks everyone! I really appreciate your encouragement. Let me just clarify what my concerns are, and although I am sure they are nothing to worry about too much, or stop me from participating, I'm just sharing them because they are questions that I have. I have been reading this board off and on for a few years, but more "off" than "on", so I don't feel like I know it as well as the regulars. Anyone who wants to respond can. :)

1. Does it make a difference to you whether I call myself "gay" or a "boylover"? Should it to me? How sacred is the terminology? Will my views be more easily accepted if I indentify myself as a BL? To be honest, I never heard of the concept of boylove till about 3 years ago, and until then I always assumed I was gay, and that was that. Well, I am still gay, but there's no doubting the fact that I'm a tbl too. But since my age of attraction is so large, I don't know how similar I am to those of you who are not attracted to adults at all, or if that even matters.

2. I don't know what the rules are here for discussing questions of sexual morality, in hypothetical terms. I have some very clear-cut opinions about what is and is not right for people to do, but I don't know if these are even relevant to the discussion here. Maybe this baord is more about Christianity than sexuality. But when people say things about sex that I disagree with, I don't know whether it is OK to present my views. Sometimes I feel like my opinions would be better received on a secular board. That is because my personal political views are clearly leaning toward the liberal side of things. I don't know many people like myself, who are politically liberal but spiritually conservative at the same time.

3. I am really more concerned with helping boys than anything else. There is nothing in the world that means more to me, than trying to make this world a better place for them, because right now we live in a society that, in some ways, just hates boys. That makes me very sad. Our culture has such mixed feelings about youth. So I am just as interested in talking about what boys need, as in what boylovers need, though of course there are plenty of other places besides here that I can do THAT. But often I wonder if all the anti-BL hysteria, is not just one symptom of a larger problem, which is that we seem to have a certain set of people in our world who are just anti-boys, period. Everything that I love about boys, the things that make them who they are, seem to be things that some people look down on and despise nowadays. Why is that?
