In the safty of our own community, we can locally redefine the terms to fit our needs. (That is, until outsiders like you start poking your busybody noses into our community.) It is when (oppressive creeps like) you take the terms into the larger culture-- where others are able to control and redefine them-- that the trouble begins. Don't you have some research to do concerning the status of widowhood in the Greek Orthodox Church. I think that would be a much more productive use of your time. |
