Once: Yes this expierence to put it in a God-context is contemplation of Nothingness. Our entry into God's beaing: best described by writers like Thomas Keating, and Gregory of Nyssa, and Pseudo-Dionysus. It is when we become so one with the divinity that we can no longer recognize self. This expierence in the atheist sense is best explained by Albert Camus, in his book the Myth of Sysisphus, who said that "we realzie we are a nihilistic void in those moments when we reflect back and say "I didn't even know I was alive a moment ago." When we say "God" during a contemplation we end it, because we limit God to God, we must be compleety open to that which IS. To know God without presupposition is the most difficult thing.
