I am not trying to play devil's advocate for mvanhouten. Like I said, there were about ten months when I didn't read CBF at all, and I haven't had time to go back and read all the oldposts. I don't want to get in the middle of arguments that I know nothing about. So I am going to stay out of issues that do not pertain to boylove as a concept, but that are rather just arguments between individuals. I'd rather not post again in response to any personal debates, unless they involve something that *I* said. I just wanted to say ONCE, that I don't think that senseless arguing is good for the cause. Of course, arguing to make an imporant point, is not senseless. There ARE times when anger can be used for good, but not constantly, I think. For the record, I know what *I* believe (once again, not trying to force anyone to agree), and I am not going to water it down. But I honestly think that I am coming from a sincere heart, and that I am not advocating anything that would harm boys. Remember, I am in favor of total abstinence (for all sexual orientations, including boylove), except in cases where there is a definite spiritual commitment between partners. [Excepting you must remember that I do not consider masturbation to be a form of sexual intercourse. I think masturbation and abstinence are compatible. That is just MY opinion. I know there are those who consider it a sin, but I do not]. And I think boylovers should obey their local laws, not because the laws are necessarily right, but for the sake of not exposing themselves or any boys to unncessary risks of punishment or humiliation. |
