It's always good to have new people drop by. I hope you do hang around and talk; my own experience of the board is that it fluctuates between heated debate on a theoretical level about BL and the legitimacy of gay relationship in general, and people sharing what is really going on in their lives. On the whole the latter are more encouraging..... One of the good aspects is that there is a range of ages here - I'm aware of someone in his 60s and several 19/20 year olds (I'm in the middle of that range myself); the fact that people have lived faithfully (platonically!) with being BLs through to their 60s is an encouragement in itself. But, for me, the best aspect is that I've started to exchange emails with a number of people I've met off the board. These have become an outstanding helpful and supportive part of my life. To find someone's email address you click on their underlined name at the top of their post; of course we tend to use anonymous email like goplay. I hope you settle in and find us a useful community to be a part of - and I hope for an email from you to allow me to answer any specific questions. |
