There is the bigotry and injustice. When 194 begs the question and wants to know what AGE is old enough.

A criteria OTHER THAN AGE must be found, a criteria where ALL humans are judged equally. It is just nonsense and cruel that some people (maybe with mental handicaps compared to others) are made much more vunerable in our society just because they reached their 18th or 16th birthday.

194 injustice cuts on both edges: people under the age of consent but ready for sex are denied rights, people over the age, but unready for sex are open to abuse with no legal recourse.

But what other criteria can be found? Just looking for such a criteria strikes fear into the hearts of conservative christians, because such a study would expose that sex is NOT such a big deal, unless of course the culture makes it a big deal.
