No. God does *not* expect us to change the world… for better or for worse.

What God *does* expect of us, is to change the little bit of the *world* that we carry around on our bones. We are to demonstrate to the world by example what a Christian is… And a Christian is love… God is Love.

"By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples… If ye have love to one another." (John 13:35)

Only God can change the world.

"Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, he may give it you." (John 15:16)

If your feelings toward young people, or anyone else, for that matter, include lust, then they are sinful.

"Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;" (I Peter 2:11)

This is a clear differentiation between love and lust.

The only insight we have to realize is that the world is against God. That is the perspective from which He expects us to observe, and to base our actions upon.

God's message to Christians, boylover or not, is to love everyone, not just boys, not just girls, not just children, not just adults… but everyone… even our enemies.

"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you;" (Matthew 5:44)

If you love with a Godly love, there is no need for age-of-consent laws.

Peace of Christ,
