Lost, You have arrived at the right place! We all feel that way at times. Indeed, we all experience this lonliness, because we can ever have the boy forever. The lonliness you expressed is compounded because pornography cannot fufill us. It does temporarily bring us comfort, but after awhile, we desire more and more. Then we become lost. We become sad. But this brings us to the one thing that can bring real comfort. I have experienced many days and nights of darkness in my life (and NOT in regards to just this issue). I now remember: Even though I go through the valley of darkness, I shall not be afraid for God is with me. ~Psalm 23:4 Indeed, I think this entire issue is God's way of showing us our need for him. As far as the need we have in regards to boys, we must come to trust that the things we don't see, like our name engraved on a boy's heart, is what is everlasting. A boy's heart is the goal! Love! Unfortunately, you are right. A boy can't be with us all the time, and even if we have one live with us, they grow into men. The sexual aspect is temporary. The everlasting connection can only be made with love, true love; the kind that touches a boy's soul, a boy's spirit. Welcome back, and may God's love come shining into you, so you can have fufillment in your interactions with boys. ~Once a Boy |
