One of the things we are taught in 12-steps groups is that EVERY human being is basically self-centered at their core. But, guess what, when you put two self-centered people together, who are somehow able to make each other feel happy by spending time together, guess whose selfish desires are satisfied by that? BOTH OF THEM!! Hehehe. So relationships are not necessarily wrong, just because selfishness may be a factor. Likewise, in relationships, sexuality is meant get the love started, not vice versa. Once the love is "started" sex may come or go, but the love can remain solid. >>Umm... Parents. As a parent(which I'm not(yet)), I would not want my child involved with anyone. I would fear for my child's safety. Fear, it should be noted, is a defense mechanism. Children are never completely safe. Life is not safe. If you were a parent, someone could break into your house and murder your child at any moment. That does not mean you should keep the child behind bulletproof glass 24 hours a day. Similarly, when there is a well-disciplined boylover who wants to have an honest, respectful, caring, and truly loving relationship with a boy, there is very little danger to worry about, I think. >>Perhaps, only TRUE love endures all... If love does not endure, perhaps it was not true... I would think that if you find a 'soul-mate' your passion, love, call it what you will, would never lose its warmth. For those who say that love can not last forever; remember that a certain some one loves all of us, now and FOREVER. I totally agree with this!! Yay! |
