The original concept of IBLD was that people light their candles in
a public place and leave a note or a pamphlet with the candle
explaining what it means to be a Boy Lover or a Loved Boy. It was
to honor the men and loved boys that have gone before us in their
struggle for the freedom to express their love. We fully realize that
many people light their own candles in the privacy of their our
home or with a small group of friends.

However you choose to celebrate IBLD is fine as long as it is
meaningful to you.
