I realized the Savin-Williams information I quoted might sound contradictory regarding whether boys' experiences were positive or negative. The first set of information I quoted (where most experiences were positive) was from his descriptions of first gay romance, but the second set (where only half was positive) was from descriptions of first gay sex. For many boys these were not the same. Savin-Williams did not give any percent figures for positive first gay romance. Mark |
