I would just like to take a moment to express my deep joy and gratitude to the universe for bringing me to this community. For so many years I felt such a deep desolation and despair, and felt entirely cut off from true self-realization because of the division between my desire to love boys and my desire to love Christ. How ironic (and poetically just) that only after a total confession and "born-again" experience was I courageous enough to finally come out in all honesty about my sexuality, and only then was I allowed to discover the online BL community. It is so very strange to me to be able to relate so well with all of you-- nearly every post makes me want to reply and say, "I know just how you feel." I hope every single one of you takes the time to give thanks to God for bringing us together, and also takes the time to give thanks to one another for being brave enough to speak. These are truly amazing and wonderful and bizarre times. On that note, I would like to post a request for further correspondence with other young gay BL, or any others in Western Canada, or anyone who shares my interest in Buddhism, First Nations traditions &/or ancient philosophy. I would particularly like to hear from anyone under 25, especially hippies/punks/ravers/etc. No, I'm not trolling, so don't laugh. I just want to talk to someone in my own age and peer group.
