Not at all. You can have a family in the typical way. I didn't mean to put you in a box, but it seemed that right now, you were leaning towards NEVER getting married. I guess my point is that one can have a fufilled life without gettting married. In fact, there are many married people who are NOT fufilled! It comes down to you.

My constant prayer is to see God working in my life and in the lives of those I love. I keep a journal to write down those exciting "coincidences" - what I see as miracles. Joy is found by realizing God is involved on our lives! Do I need to be married? Do I need to have a family? I, like you, have a desire for this; however, it may never happen. All I can do is live each day trying to "see God" in my life. If I am meant to have a wife and children, then it will happen. Same with you.

In the meantime, enjoy the people and things that currently bring you joy realizing that everything changes. I have loved golf. Now, I hardly play. I loved painting these past 6 months. Now, I am into putting puzzles together. There are people I have loved to be with that I no longer see as frequently as I once did. However, I know new people will come to mean a great deal. Also, some old friends may come back and enjoyable times will again take place. Whatever we are going through, whether ectasy or depression, the truth is this "feeling" will change. Everything changes!

Right now, wherever you are, I just think we need to "chill." We shouldn't think, "I don't have this." Instead, we should be thankful for what we have and what we will have in the future. Does this include a wife and kids? I don't know. In the end, does it really matter? The joy that may exist in a moment is only temporary. Divorces occur. A close relationship with a son or daughter can change, and in some cases, the relationship dies. Do we die? I don't think so.

Don't get me wrong. I believe God protects those things and people in which you are meant to have and be with. God will bring you the boys or the men or the women - it just depends on whether or not we are open to allowing "it" to happen, staying in His word, praying, and recogniing the "miracles" all around us. After reading some of the posts in this group, I feel changed. Within each second, we change. I believe we are all moving towards the person God wants us to be, yet we will never get there. We are ever changing. Love the one your with!
