Pamella, I'm affraid that you missed the point all together. First of all, my post was in response to an A Hole who said to another individual who appeared to be suicidial that his taking his life would be one less pedophile around to molest his son. Secondly, Thank God this is America. Third, although there are some pedophiles who have sexual thoughts of minors,(by the way, the age of consent is 16 in most states except Lousiana where it is 14) but they do not take action on those thoughts..... thoughts are not a sin, taking action upon them is. Since last March, my then 21 year old friend, ask me to look at this site, I did significant research on pedophilia and boylove and found some siginficant answers about boylovers, my friend, and myself. BoyLovers are not evil people, Child molesters are! You see, in getting to know my friend, I have spoken at length with his father and mother and ultimately have provided him the love which was never given to him as a child. He has grown significantly over the past year and I am very proud of him. He and I are in business together in a professional field and enjoy being around each other allot. And, most of all, I Trust Him around my three boys. There are many people on this forum, some who are extremely religous and schooled, and others who just want to know they are not alone. Is there a treatment for pedophilia, yes there is. But does that make pedophiles/boylovers a better person after.... Frankly, I think not. There are lots of children in the world from two parent families who could use a mentor in their lives -- someone who understands them and can help them grow up to be productive and happy people in society...... and without getting sexually involved with them. Yes Pamella, I have done research on lots of areas, and have some personal opinions on most; and, I'm not afraid to stand by someone and help them through whatever trial they are going through, without self-preservation as 99 percent of the population have. Yes, I have come to love my young friend in a manner similar to the love I have for my wife. |
