Thanks for sharing about Jeremy! It was a cute story. As he gets closer to being a teen, more than likely, guess what might pull him away from you? Yup. Society and peers...ah, the world in its rules and regulations to pull us away from love. Treasure your times with Jeremy! At 11 years old, it was good to hear he was strong enough to stand up to the "attack" made by the girl in her feeble attempt to place him in a box. You said you were accused of being a homosexual...oh well...people will judge others. God tells us not to, but we do. All too often others attempt to crush spirits and try to control others by puting them in a box! The older I get the less I care about what others think. Don't get me wrong. I do listen. Yet in the end, I must do what is right in my heart. I search for God to enlighten me into what is right. You talked a lot about Jesus and what he would do. Thank God Jesus didn't let the world direct his actions. In everything He did, Jesus did what was pleasing to God. We all try, but we all fail. May God give us the wisdom to deal with all the issues that we are unclear about. And because we are not God, we should take God's gift of grace when we fail. This forgiveness allows us to get up again and "work" in getting closer to the One. ~Once a Boy |
